Northeast monsoon, tail-end of cold front affecting PH: PAGASA

MANILA — The northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon while a tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern section of Visayas.

In its 24-hour forecast for Wednesday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the tail-end of a cold front will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms over Visayas and the regions of Bicol, Mimaropa, Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Zamboanga Peninsula.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Northern Luzon and Calabarzon will experience cloudy skies due to moderate rains caused by northeast monsoon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms with possible flooding and landslides caused by moderate to occasionally heavy rains. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
