The Philippine National Police (PNP) is still on the lookout for the remaining escapee from the Malibay Detention Facility jailbreak in Pasay last Monday, April 3.

At 10:40 a.m., the Pasay City Police Office posted on Facebook that nine of the runaway inmates have been rearrested while one jailbreaker, identified as Richard Dela Cruz,  remains at large.

The Southern Police District and the Pasay local government have set a P100,000 and P30,000 reward, respectively, for the recapture of Dela Cruz.

Based on the report submitted by the Pasay Police, the detainees cut the iron bars to get out of the detention facility.

They also “held and mauled the duty jailer and took his service firearm, cash money and assorted keys of the jail.” – Arabella Asis-ag
