A two-year-old Chihuahua is the world’s shortest dog living, according to the Guinness World Records.

Named “Pearl,” the dog only measures 9.14 centimeters (cm) or 3.59 inches in height, meaning she’s shorter than a popsicle stick.

In length, “Pearl” measures 12.7 cm or 5 inches, around the same size as a dollar bill.

She also weighs only 553 grams or a typical weight of a whole loaf of bread.

According to Guinness World Records, “Pearl” is a relative of the previous record holder “Miracle Milly” who unfortunately passed away in 2020, before “Pearl” was born.

“Just like her ancestor Milly, Pearl weighed less than an ounce (28 grams) at birth,” Guinness World Records wrote. -ag
