Local artists from Bantayan Island in Cebu Province held an art exhibit and free workshop for kids over the weekend.
George Aniban, one of the artists, said in an interview that the event, with a theme “Bloodlines,” aims to expose themselves and to teach young artists.
Aniban said it was their first time to hold an art exhibit in Santa Fe, one of the three municipalities of Bantayan Island.
He said they usually hold art exhibits in their hometown, in Bantayan.
The exhibit and workshop is organized by the local government of Santa Fe led by Mayor Ithamar Espinosa. –ag
