A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Jose Abad Santos in Davao Oriental on Wednesday morning, April 12, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The tectonic tremor had a depth of 90 kilometers (km) and hit 101 km south of Jose Abad Santos at 10:02 a.m.

According to the latest Phivolcs bulletin, Intensity II was felt in Malungon, Sarangani.

Meanwhile, Intensity I was felt in Davao City, Davao del Sur; Nabunturan, Davao de Oro; Kiamba, Alabel, Glan in Sarangani; General Santos City, Tupi, Koronadal City in South Cotabato.
