A content creator aired her concern on online scammers posing as her to scam other people online.

In a Facebook post, vlogger and mental health advocate Roanne Carreon said she has been receiving multiple messages from concerned individuals, asking if she was affiliated with accounts promoting job opportunities.

“I want to address a growing concern that I have noticed recently. Some scam accounts are using my content to promote [work from home] opportunities without my permission,” Carreon wrote.

“Please be aware that I am not associated with these scam accounts in any way,” she added.

She also called on the public who may come across any ads using her content or seem suspicious to report them to the respective platform immediately.

“Let’s work together to stop these scammers and protect our community,” she added. -ag
