The largest book festival in the Philippines will be held from June 2 to June 4 at the World Trade Center in Pasay, the National Book Development Board Philippines (NBDB) announced Wednesday, April 19.

According to NBDB, attendees of the Philippine Book Festival will have the chance to meet their favorite writers and creators as well as attend their readings and book signings.

The Philippine Book Festival will also offer diverse titles across all genres, with hundreds of publishers, including digital and e-books publishers, participating.

“We offer a range of workshops that cover various topics such as decolonizing reading, Filipino publishing, cross-media adaptation, and much more!” NBDB said.

Live performances by actors and storytellers are also expected.

“If you’re an aspiring writer, our book festival is the perfect place to learn from experts and hone your craft,” NBDB also said.

“If you enjoy discussing books and literature, our book fair provides ample opportunities to engage in lively debates and discussions with fellow book lovers,” it added. -ag
