About 69% of Filipino adults said they find it hard to find a job, based on a recent survey released by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

Meanwhile, 11% said finding a job is easy these days, 16% answered it is neither easy nor hard, and 4% said they don’t know.

The poll also found that 50% were optimistic there will be more jobs offered for them in the next 12 months.

“Since 2009, except during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Filipinos have been more optimistic about job availability,” SWS noted.

The survey asked 1,200 Filipino adults nationwide. It was conducted from March 26 to 29.
