Senator Robinhood “Robin” Padilla tendered his irrevocable resignation as executive vice president of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) on Monday, May 29.

In an update on Tuesday, Padilla’s camp said his resignation is to “ensure he can concentrate on fulfilling his duties as senator.”

The senator, however, will remain a member of the PDP-Laban.
