DMW: Nearly 12K jobs abroad available on Independence Day

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) announced that it is set to conduct a nationwide Overseas Mega Job Fair in celebration of the 125th Independence Day on Monday, June 12.

“Kaugnay ng pagdiriwang ng Migrant Workers Day at pakikiisa ng Department of Migrant Workers sa ika-125 na Anibersaryo ng Kalayaan at Pagkabansang Pilipino, isang malawakang OVERSEAS MEGA JOBS FAIR po ang inihanda para sa lahat ng nais magtrabaho abroad,” the DMW said.

According to the DMW, about 11,750 jobs in at least 17 countries will be up for grabs for nurses, welders, construction workers, warehouse supervisors, accountants, and seafarers.

Vacancies in the food and beverage industry will also be offered.

The Independence Day Mega Job Fair at the DMW Lobby in Mandaluyong City will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 34 other venues across the country.

It will be participated by 32 land-based private recruitment agencies and two sea-based manning agencies.

The DMW reminded the interested applicants to bring their resume/biodata, copy of passport, ballpen, face mask, and alcohol.
