LRT-2, MRT-3 to give free rides to Filipino seafarers on June 25

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) will be offering free rides for Filipino seafarers on Monday, June 25, in celebration of the Day of the Filipino Seafarer.

Filipino seafarers will not pay a centavo in LRT-2 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, MRT-3 will also be offering free rides from 5:30 a.m. until its operations end at about 10:00 p.m.

To avail of the free rides, Filipino seafarers may only need to show their valid Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB) or Seafarer’s Identity Document (SID).
