The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte, the weather bureau said Saturday, June 24.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ or localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

Palawan, Mindanao, and the western section of Visayas will experience light to moderate winds moving southwest to northwest, while the rest of the Visayas will also have light to moderate winds, but moving northeast to north.

On the other hand, the rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate winds moving east to southeast.

The entire archipelago will have slight to moderate coastal waters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 32°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 24°C; Legazpi City, 26°C to 33°C; Laoag City, 26°C to 33°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 24°C to 32°C.
