Death toll from Hawaii wildfire hits 67: officials

The death toll from a fast-moving wildfire that leveled a Hawaiian town jumped Friday to 67, officials said.

“As firefighting efforts continue, 12 additional fatalities have been confirmed as of 1 pm today amid the active Lahaina fire,” Maui County said. “This brings the death toll to 67 people.”
