The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said Friday, Nov. 3, that 50 Filipinos in Israel are set to be repatriated next week.

In the government’s Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon program, DMW officer-in-charge Hans Leo Cacdac said they will comprise the fifth and sixth batches of repatriation from Israel since the war broke out.

“Sa ngayon, tumatayo sa 119 ang nakauwi na out of 178 requests for repatriation. At mayroon tayong napipintong 23 na pauwi nitong Lunes at 27 na pauwi nitong Martes,” Cacdac said.

The DMW has also extended aid and condolences to the bereaved families of slain Filipinos in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

-ag
