DPWH builds 3-storey building for children with disabilities

A three-storey building designed to cater to the needs of children with disabilities in Quezon City was completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

In a report, DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro said P15 million was allocated to construct the Kabahagi Resource Center Building at Batasan- San Mateo Road – IBP Road, Brgy. Batasan Hills, District II, Quezon City.

“With the completion of this building, the local government of Quezon City now has a new conducive facility that will help in the delivery of social services necessary to enhance the health, physical fitness, economic and social well-being of children with disabilities,” said Director Navarro.

The new Kabahagi Resource Center Building can accommodate approximately 100 children with disabilities. (DPWH)
