Zamboanga City workers receive P25-K CNA incentive

ZAMBOANGA CITY — Each of the 2,000 city government employees will receive PhP25,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive this year.

City Budget Officer Ferdinando Alvarez on Wednesday said local government employees — regulars, casuals and contractuals including department heads and elected city government officials are entitled to receive the CNA.

Alvarez said they must be in the city government service for a period of four months and still in the service as of October 31, this year, to qualify for the CNA incentive.

He said this year’s CNA incentive totaled to PhP50 million.
The source of funds for the CNA incentive is from the savings of the city government expenses, such as traveling, communication, repairs and maintenance, transportation and delivery expenses, supplies and materials, and utility.

The CNA will be released through the different department offices of the city government and not earlier than Friday, December 15.

This is the fourth year that the employees of the city government will receive the CNA incentive. (PNA)
