The Police Regional Office-Bicol (PRO-5) arrested 125 suspects and confiscated P7.1 million worth of illegal drugs during operations in November, a report said Monday.

Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO-5 Spokesperson, said 112 operations led to the seizure of 1.045 kilograms of shabu and 11.84 grams of marijuana.

Authorities filed 195 cases in court against individuals allegedly involved in illegal drug activities, Calubaquib added.

Among the provinces, Albay recorded the highest value of seized drugs at P2.94 million, followed by Masbate with P1.53 million and Camarines Norte with P1.52 million.

Camarines Sur reported confiscations worth P649,252, while Sorsogon accounted for P398,425.

Naga City logged P54,072 worth of seized drugs, while Catanduanes reported no drug-related arrests during the period.

“These accomplishments underscore PRO-5’s commitment to safeguarding the region from the detrimental effects of illegal drugs,” Calubaquib said.
