The country will experience rains on Sunday, April 6, due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Palawan.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The weather bureau also said northern Luzon will have moderate winds and seas while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperatures for the day will range from 25.0°C to 30.9°C. (PNA)
