MANILA — Several flights have been suspended Friday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) due to bad weather caused by tropical storm “Vinta”.
In its advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said the following flights were canceled:
5J (Cebu Pacific) 781/782 Manila-Ozamiz-Manila
5J (Cebu Pacific) 703/704 Manila-Dipolog-Manila
5J (Cebu Pacific) 705/706 Manila-Dipolog-Manila
5J (Cebu Pacific) 887/888 Manila-Cotabato-Manila
5J (Cebu Pacific) 327/328 Manila-Legazpi-Manila
5J (Cebu Pacific) 629/630 Manila-Dumaguete-Manila
5J (Cebu Pacific) 631/632 Manila-Dumaguete-Manila
DG (Cebgo) 6177/6178 Manila-Masbate-Manila
2P (PAL Express) 2526 Cagayan-Manila
State weather bureau PAGASA said in its latest weather forecast that tropical storm Vinta has slightly weakened while traversing the northern part of Davao Region.
Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal (TCWS) # 2 has been raised over the provinces of Agusan del Sur, Davao del Norte, North Cotabato, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, and Zamboanga Sibugay
TCWS # 1 is hoisted over Southern Leyte, Bohol, Southern Cebu, Negros Oriental, Southern Negros Occidental, Siquijor, Dinagat Island, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Camiguin, Compostela Valley, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, and Basilan.
