The public’s appreciation of the administration’s efforts to address the Filipino people’s needs inspires President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to continue bringing progress to the country.

In an interview at the sidelines of the 46th Commencement Exercises of the Philippine National Police Academy in Silang, Cavite on Tuesday, the President expressed elation over the results of the latest Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey of OCTA Research, which showed the Filipinos’ continued trust and confidence in him.

“Well, it just validates that what we are doing, that people are beginning to understand what we have been trying to do for the last two-and-a-half, almost three years,” Marcos said.

“Kung minsan hindi mo naman malaman kung nararamdaman ng tao ’yong inyong ginagawa at mabuti naman ay nakikita ng [taumbayan] kung ano ’yong ginagawa natin at paano makakatulong ito [na mapaganda ang] kanilang mga buhay,” he added.

The TNM survey, conducted from April 2–5, showed that 60% of Filipinos continue to trust the President, while 59% remain satisfied with his performance.

Meanwhile, Malacañang stressed that despite “political controversies and criticisms” that aim to sow doubt on the administration, Filipinos remain focused on the government’s bigger achievements.
