Deadly suicide bombing hits near Afghan intelligence compound

Kabul, Afghanistan

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN — Afghanistan’s interior ministry says a suicide bombing Monday on a busy road in Kabul killed at least five civilians and wounded two others.

The blast happened near a compound used by the country’s intelligence agency.

The bombing comes a week after the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for an attack on a National Directorate of Security training facility in Kabul.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Monday’s attack. | via Voice of America
