Motorists will soon be able to view and settle their traffic violations through the government’s eGov PH super app, as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) moves to integrate the No-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) system.

During a press briefing in Malacañang on Wednesday, DICT Usec. David Almirol Jr. said the initiative was agreed upon following a meeting with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), “nagmeeting na po kami sa MMDA, so mare-receive mo na po ’yong mga penalties mo sa eGov app.”

“Kapag natapos po ‘yong integration, ang ganda po nito, makikita niyo ‘yong mga violations niyo. At kahit nasa bahay kayo, puwede na i-settle ‘yong penalties.”

The NCAP allows the MMDA to record, review, and validate traffic violations through CCTV cameras.

It is being implemented along Metro Manila’s major thoroughfares like EDSA, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon Avenue, Roxas Boulevard, and Taft Avenue.

The integration is part of a broader effort by the DICT to bring more government services into a single digital platform, in line with President Ferdinand Marcos R. Jr.’s directive to streamline public services through digital transformation.

Almirol said nearly 1,000 government systems have already been linked to the eGov PH app, including services related to digital identification, tourism, travel, and benefits from agencies such as the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
