Malacañang on Wednesday said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. will remain in the Palace to continue reviewing the proposed 2026 national budget and will welcome the New Year with his family.

Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said the President has no travel plans as he is focused on budget-related work.

She added that Marcos will spend the New Year with his loved ones.

Earlier, Malacañang said the Executive Branch is conducting a thorough review of the ratified 2026 General Appropriations Act to ensure its integrity and alignment with national priorities. (PNA)
