MANILA — Isolated rains will prevail over most parts of the country as the northeast monsoon affects extreme northern Luzon and the easterlies affect the eastern part of the archipelago, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes, while the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms over the Samar provinces, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will prevail over northern Luzon and the eastern section of central and southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
