MSMEs urged to join business benchmarking on April 20

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite –Cavite’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) interested in comparative business processes and products of companies with best practices are enjoined to join the provincial government’s business benchmarking activity slated on April 20.

In its advisory on Tuesday, the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO) has provided opportunities for some 45 Cavite MSMEs to participate in the learning exposure, advancement of their entrepreneurial skills and development of products.

As part of the capacity building activities, the participants will have their field visit to the production area of Amira’s Buco Tart Haus, the manufacturer of the first and original buco tart in Tagaytay City.

The day’s activity also includes a stop at Entreprouch in Ermita, Manila, a known supplier of pouch product packaging.

Cavite MSMEs will also be attending the 14th Philippine Food Expo 2018 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, where the “Best in Philippine Food Products of the World” will be on display.

Attendance to the said activity comes with a fee, more of cost-sharing for the transportation and toll fees, as well as food, entrance and certificate of participation expenses.

Assembly time for the participating MSMEs is at 7 a.m., in front of the Cavite Cooperative Development Center (CACODEC) here.

Reservation is on first come, first served basis and only paid and confirmed participants will be accommodated during the day.
