ITCZ to bring scattered rains Monday: PAGASA

MANILA — An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some parts of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau said.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon.

Temperature in Metro Manila is 26-34 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City, 26-39 degrees Celsius; Baguio City, 17-25 degrees Celsius; Angeles City, 26-38 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu, 27-33 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao, 26 to 33 degrees Celsius. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
