
MANILA — The low pressure area (LPA) will bring light to moderate rains in the eastern section of Luzon, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Wednesday.
In its forecast, Pagasa said that at 3 a.m., the LPA was last observed 100 kilometers east of Daet, Camarines Norte province.
Eastern Visayas and Bicol region will experience light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the trough of the LPA.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon or “habagat” continues to affect the western section of Luzon.
Ilocos and Cordillera regions, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Temperature in Manila ranges from 26-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-37 degrees Celsius; Baguio 17-23 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-33 Celsius and Metro Davao 24-33 degrees Celsius. ( Lily Ramos/PNA)
