“I assured CSC that the provincial government of North Cotabato adheres to the endeavor of delivering truthful and quality service to the public,” Mendoza said.

Pueyo was recently named CSC regional director for Region 12 (Soccsksargen), which comprises the provinces of North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangani and the cities of Cotabato, Kidapawan, Tacurong, Koronadal, and Gen. Santos.

She lauded the advocacy of the governor through her “Serbisyong Totoo” programs that bring basic government services of the local government unit to the farthest communities in the province.

Mendoza said provincial capitol workers are under strict orders to serve the constituents and “let them feel that government really works.”

She said clients of provincial government offices feel that services have improved since President Rodrigo Duterte issued a directive to cut short the waiting time for individuals seeking permits. (Noel Punzalan/PNA)
