“I am glad that the President has apologized to the Living GOD. Only the LORD our GOD can judge our sincerity,” the JIL founder said on a Facebook post Wednesday.

The head of the Christian group also expressed hope that Duterte would lead the people towards unity amid religious differences.

“Moving forward, I hope the President can lead us towards greater unity and respect for one’s faith and religion and to focus all energy on policies that can uplift the nation!” he added.
