MANILA — Several international and domestic flights were diverted to Clark as of Thursday evening due to bad weather, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said.
CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio said the following flights were diverted due to the inclement weather and for safety reasons:
* Cebu Pacific (5J) 326 Legazpi-Manila
* PAL Express (2P) 134 Bacolod-Manila
* 2P 544 Dumaguete-Manila
* 5J 5055 Narita-Manila
* Emirates (EK) 332 Dubai-Manila
* 5J 888 Cotabato-Manila
* Etihad (EY) 424 Abu Dhabi-Manila
* China Southern (CZ) 397 Guangzhou-Manila
* Qatar Airways (QR) 932 Doha-Manila
* Xiamen Airlines (MF) 817 Guangzhou-Manila
State weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) latest bulletin said tropical storm “Inday” was last eyed at 1,025 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.
The southwest monsoon is also affecting Luzon, it added. (PNA)
