Former DOT exec is new IBC-13 board member

MANILA — President Rodrigo R. Duterte has named Department of Tourism (DOT) Undersecretary Kat de Castro as new member of the Board of Directors at Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC-13).

Duterte signed De Castro’s appointment paper on Monday (August 20) but it was released to media on Wednesday (August 22).

De Castro will replace Manolito Cruz and will serve until June 30, 2019. Meanwhile, Duterte appointed Edwin Enrile to replace De Castro.

The President also appointed the following:

  • Michael Ong as Acting Senior Deputy Executive Secretary at the Office of the President
  • Mcjill Fernandez as Acting Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration at the Office of the President
  • Vanessa Goc-Ong as Assistant Secretary at the Office of the President
  • Beatrice Vega as Assistant Secretary at the Office of the President
  • Francisco Acosta as Chairman of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas
  • Ruben Lopez as member of the Board of Directors at the United Coconut Planters Bank
  • Joe Doctora as member of the Board of Directors at the Small Business Corporation
  • Dengel Palmares as member of the Board of Directors at the Philippine Sugar Corporation
  • Danilo Trongco as member representing the tobacco farmers sector of the Board of Directors at the National Tobacco Administration.
  • Amador Tabuga Jr. as member of the Board of Directors at the Philippine Mining Development Corporation
  • Paul Paulin as Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer I at the Department of Agrarian Reform
  • Peter Fauni as Register of Deeds II at the Land Registration Authority, Department of Justice (Azer Parrocha/PNA)
