CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — The city government of Cabanatuan on Friday prepositioned heavy equipment in various strategic locations here as tropical cyclone warning signal No. 2 was hoisted over Nueva Ecija province.

This is on top of the various equipment of the Cabanatuan City Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) that have been put on standby for possible clearing operations.

A pool of dump trucks owned by Nueva Ecija 3rd District Rep. Rosanna Vergara has also been set for deployment.

Rains began to pour here at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Meanwhile, classes and work in both public and private offices were cancelled by Govenor Czarina Umali for Friday and Saturday.
