LPA, easterlies affecting PH on Tuesday

MANILA — Fair weather is expected on Tuesday as a low-pressure area (LPA) and the easterlies continue to affect the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a.m. forecast that the LPA was last observed at 970 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan and the easterlies affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

The weather bureau added Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy or cloudy with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorm.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-24 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 24-55 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 25-33 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 25-35 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
