3 Villafuertes file candidacy in Camarines Sur

PILI, Camarines Sur – Three Villafuertes in Camarines Sur filed their respective certificates of candidacy (COC) for different elective positions at around 10 a.m. Monday at the provincial office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Barangay Cadlan here.

Incumbent Governor Miguel Luis “Migz” Villafuerte is running for his third term.

Rep. Luis Raymond “LRay” Villafuerte, Jr., who had completed three terms as governor, filed his candidacy for representative of the 2nd Congressional District of Camarines Sur.

Luis R. Villafuerte, on the other hand, filed his candidacy for representative of the 3rd Congressional District.

Meanwhile, singer-turned-politician Imelda Papin, who previously served as vice governor of Camarines Sur, also filed her COC for the same position. (Melissa Basmayor/PNA)
