Marine Corps to recruit 300 men in Zamboanga

ZAMBOANGA CITY — The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) is conducting mobile recruitment targeting 300 recruits in this city.

Capt. Jieve Ajijul, PMC recruitment officer, said aspirants have until Nov. 4 to register and undergo screening. They can register at the administrative office of the PMC at the Naval Forces Western Mindanao (Navforwem) headquarters in Barangay Calarian.

“Applicants must first secure an examinee number by logging in at afpsat.afp.mil.ph before proceeding to the Navforwem headquarters to submit their application forms” he said.

He described the recruitment drive as an “opportunity that aspiring applicants should avail of, as the Marine Corps offers competitive pay and allowances.”

“They are also entitled to insurance and health care benefits, billeting and housing privileges, leadership and other skills training, free medical and dental service (including dependents), job security, opportunity for career advancement, opportunity for post graduate studies both within the country and abroad as well as the opportunity to lead the marines,” the Marine official said. (Teofilo Garcia, Jr/PNA)
