TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — Vehicle owners whose plate numbers end in 5 to 0 can now travel freely in Cavite as the number coding scheme has been lifted starting Wednesday.
The provincial government of Cavite, in an advisory on Tuesday, said the lifting is in observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.
Malacañang has declared Nov. 1 and 2 as regular and special non-working holidays.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) also announced the suspension of the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or the “number coding” scheme from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5 while Makati City suspended the coding scheme in major thoroughfares from Nov. 1 and 2 only. (/PNA)
