MANILA — Cebu Pacific (CEB) has announced that it will upgrade its booking system from 8 p.m. on Nov. 13 to 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 14, advising passengers that online transactions will be unavailable during this period.
Managing flights through the web or mobile app, or via ticket offices and sales agents, as well as online check-in will all be unavailable during the system upgrade.
“This is a major system upgrade for our booking portal and airport service provider. In any system upgrade and not just for the airlines, we need to temporarily halt all other functions,” CEB spokesperson Charo Lagamon told the Philippine News Agency (PNA) on Tuesday.
She added this is not the first time that CEB had upgraded its booking system, but also noted that the carrier does not do this often.
Meanwhile, manual check-in at the airport counters will be done.
Affected passengers may also opt to rebook or refund their tickets, according to CEB.
