MANILA — A low pressure area (LPA) will continue to bring rains over some parts of the country on Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA was last eyed 95 kilometers of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

PAGASA said Palawan, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA.

Meanwhile, Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan.”

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains, also due to northeast monsoon.

The rest of Luzon and the Visayas will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorm.

Northern and Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds from the northeast, while Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have moderate to rough coastal waters.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-25 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 25-32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 25-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 34-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-30 degrees Celsius.
