Sandiganbayan allows Revilla to visit dentist anew

MANILA — The Sandiganbayan has again allowed former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. to visit his dentist in Makati City.

In his motion, Revilla said he needed to undergo the recommended “routine dental check-up” and restoration of his damaged teeth at the Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center at The Residences, Greenbelt Center, Makati City on Aug. 25, 2017.

It will be recalled that last March, the anti-graft court also allowed Revilla to visit his dentist in six separate days and last April, for the “check-up and dental procedures”, including the “implant surgery”.

He said after these procedures, he was advised by Dr. Steve Mark Gan to return on Aug. 25, 2017 for the “routine dental check-up and restoration” of the damaged teeth.

Revilla noted that the Sandiganbayan earlier said it would not hesitate to grant his motion in the future time if such circumstances recur.

Reviila is currently detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City for plunder and graft charges for his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam. (PNA)
