LTFRB pinayuhan ang Grab na manatili sa price cap

Pinaalalahanan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang Grab na tumupad sa ipinatutupad nitong price cap sa mga Transportation Network Corporation (TNC).

Ito ay matapos makatanggap ng mga reklamo ang ahensya kaugnay sa sobrang paniningil sa mga pasahero at umano’y pananamantala ng kumpanya dahil sa suspensyon ng Uber.

Ayon kay LTFRB Chairman Atty. Martin B. Delgra III, dapat sundin ng Grab ang inilabas na kautusan ng ahensya noong ika-27 ng Disyembre 2017 kaugnay sa pagpapatupad ng dagdag-singil.

Nagbabala rin si Delgra na mapipilitan ang ahensya na magsagawa ng hakbang kung mapatutunayang naniningil nang sobra-sobra ang Grab.

Pinayuhan naman ng LTFRB Chairman ang mga pasahero na ipagbigay alam agad sa ahensya sakaling may mga nananamantala pa rin sa singil sa pamasahe.

Samantala, dumipensa naman ang Grab Philippines ukol sa pagtaas ng price cap at iginiit na normal ang maliit na dagdag-singil sa pamasahe dahil sa paglaki ng demand ukol pagkakasuspinde ng Uber. (Angelica Bobiles – PTV)
