Poy Erram trade officially approved

MANILA — It’s now official. Poy Erram is heading to NLEX.

The much talked-about trade involving him, Paul Desiderio, and Abu Tratter finally got the approval of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner Willie Marcial on Friday following a previously unannounced tweak to the package.

The second-round picks that became a part of the swap when TNT joined the initially straight-up NLEX-Blackwater trade are now those for the 2022 PBA Draft.

The KaTropa will now take the pick the Elite got from the San Miguel Beermen in the Paul Zamar trade.

On the other hand, Blackwater will now have TNT’s original second rounder.
Also, the Elite got Alfrancis Tamsi from the KaTropa.

As previously reported, Desiderio and Tratter will join Tamsi in Blackwater, Papot Paredes will join Erram at NLEX, and Mike Miranda is going to TNT.

Desiderio and Tratter already signed three-year deals with the Elite on Thursday, signaling that the trade already got the green light.
