‘Agaton’-affected families now at 301

MANILA — A total of 301 families have been affected by inclement weather brought by Tropical Depression Agaton in Central Visayas and CARAGA, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said in its update Tuesday.

The affected families, living in 10 barangays in both regions, are equivalent to 1,287 persons, NDRRMC executive director Ricardo Jalad said.

Of the figures, 285 families or 1,208 persons are currently being served in eight evacuation centers, while 16 families or 79 individuals are aided outside. (PNA)
