AirAsia opens Clark-Seoul flight

CLARK, Pampanga – Philippines AirAsia will open its newest flight out of Clark International Airport (CRK) to Seoul, Korea starting Jan. 19, 2019 with introductory fares as low as PHP1,990.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Capt. Dexter Comendador announced this on Wednesday, adding that the opening of its newest addition of three times weekly flights to Seoul signifies the company’s continuous expansion at CRK.

“It is an exciting time for travelers from Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon wanting to experience winter in Seoul as we begin to offer new flights from Clark in January. AirAsia is expanding our network in Clark to provide the much-needed connectivity and convenience,” Comendador said.

Flights are now available for booking at the AirAsia website from Nov. 6 to 10 for travel on Jan. 19 to March 30, 2019.
AirAsia offers several flights from Clark to Cebu, Davao, Puerto Princesa, Caticlan (Boracay), Tacloban, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, and Taipei, Taiwan.

AirAsia began its commercial operation in the Philippines in 2012 here in Clark, with only two aircraft. It currently operates a fleet of 21 Airbus A320s from hubs in Manila, Cebu, Kalibo, and Clark. (Marna Dagumboy Del Rosario/PNA)
