Alforte, captures country’s 2nd bronze medal in World Karate Championships

Karate Pilipinas Kata team member Sakura Alforte gave the country its second bronze medal in the world stage. The Filipino-Japanese karateka bagged a bronze medal in the U-21 Juniors and Cadets World Karate Championships held recently in Santiago, Chile. Alforte broke ng country’s 25-year medal spell in the world championships after Enrique Azarcon first won a bronze in 1994.
