ASEAN heads of civil service to join CSC’s Leadership Series

The Civil Service Commission’s Civil Service Institute caps the 2017 Leadership Series with a forum on “Innovation Leadership” slated November 3 at the Conrad Manila Hotel, Pasay City.

The forum coincides with the 2nd ASEAN Heads of Civil Service Retreat on November 2-3 which the CSC is holding as part of the country’s hosting of the 2017 Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Delegates to the ASEAN Civil Service Retreat are expected to attend the CSC-CSI leadership forum.

The learning event aims to cultivate different leadership styles in organizations to influence employees in producing creative ideas, outputs, services, and solutions.

The program also seeks to generate interest among the present and future leaders in government towards having the desire to know, understand, and live an innovative culture in the workplace that would help them operate in challenging and unpredictable circumstances; introduce innovative thinking, systems, and tools that are essential for heightened organizational performance; and share best practices of innovation leadership in various institutions and enable participants to choose which among these are apt with their leadership styles in their organization.

The CSI Leadership Series is a learning and networking event held on a quarterly basis designed to inspire government executives, directors and managers to continually enhance their leadership effectiveness. It showcases the emerging trends and best practices of successful leaders and managers in both the government and the private sectors, and has attracted more than 2,500 leaders since 2014.

Themes for the previous quarters were Diversity and Leadership (March), Visionary Leadership (June), and Leading Smart Organizations (September).

Interested individuals may register online at https://goo.gl/yoKAsZ (first come-first served basis). A certificate of completion with eight (8) leadership and managerial training hours will be given to participants who have successfully completed the program/course. The leadership series registration fee is P5,000 per participant. For inquiries, call 931-8019; 931-7939 local 302 and look for Mr. Mark Anthony G.
