Authorities arrest suspected ASG member in Sulu

Authorities arrested a suspected member of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) in Sulu.

The 17th Special Forces Company and 6th Special Forces battalion clashed with roughly 7 terrorists in Patikul Sulu at 4:00 pm Thursday. The encounter lasted for 10 minutes resulting to the capture of Amah Ullah.

Ullah who is considered as the sub leader of the ASG was injured in the combat and was brought to the military medical station. He will undergo custodial briefing.
