Bahrain reopens hiring of Filipino workers

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announced that Bahrain has lifted the temporary suspension on hiring foreign house service workers as majority of employers in the country has chosen to open their doors to Filipino Overseas Workers.

However, the Philippine Overseas Labor and Office (POLO) and the Labor Recruitment Market Authority of Bahrain has reminded Filipinos to take the necessary precautions and to transact only with licensed employers to ensure that they will undergo the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) health protocols before applying in the country. – Report from Louisa Erispe
