MANILA — Harold Banario needed only 41 seconds to stop fellow Filipino Ariel Oliveros in the preliminaries of Brave 22: Storm of Warriors at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Friday night.

The younger brother of former ONE featherweight champion Honorio Banario quickly took Oliveros at the get go and completed a heel hook that forced Oliveros to tap out.

Meanwhile, Banario’s fellow Team Lakay member, Jomar Pa-ac, pulled off a unanimous decision win over Satya Behuria of India.

Pa-ac was dominant from start to finish as he got a perfect 30 points from the three judges.

Unfortunately, Team Lakay already got a loss in Brave 22 as John Cris Corton conceded to Palestinian pugilist Abdul Hussein.

Hussein recovered from a slow start and forced a guillotine choke on Corton who was forced to tap out at the 3:14 mark of Round 1.

In other results, Hussain Ayyad of Bahrain had a submission win over Jason Vergara via triangle choke while Jayson Margallo downed Rex de Lara via unanimous decision.
