‘Barangayanihan’ reaches Calabarzon

A one-stop shop barangay caravan for social and health services was conducted in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna on Tuesday, April 12.

According to Calabarzon Regional Police Director, PBGen. Antonio Yarra, “Barangayanihan” aims to benefit residents through availing of the caravan’s social and health services.

The caravan offered residents free National Police Clearance System application, Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID registration, as well as job fair through the Laguna Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO), Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture, and live skills demonstration in Technical Educations and Skills Development Authority Calabarzon.

Aside from social services, residents were also able to avail of free medical consultations, medicines, and vaccines for pneumonia and COVID-19.

The “Barangayanihan” will continue to give services in different cities and municipalities through the help of government agencies.–Dwight Michael Benedicto/KC-gb
