BI execs reshuffle announced

MANILA — Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Friday announced a reshuffle of key officials in the Bureau of Immigration (BI) following the recent resignation of an official who will run for local office in next year’s elections.

“I have designated Atty. Jose Mari Ronaldo P. Ledesma as Officer in Charge-Associate Commissioner and Atty. Grifton Medina as Acting Chief, Ports Operations Division to replace Mark Red Mariñas, who will run in the forthcoming local elections in Muntinlupa City,” Guevarra said in a message to reporters.
Medina is the chief personnel, head of the Committee on Good Governance while, Ledesma is the chief of the BI Center for Training and Research.
